Basic Administrative Informations
cafe9 venue:
All events and video screenings will take place in or next to the venue of Cafe9 Praha. Cafe9 is hosted by the brand new media lab NoD and this is part of the alternative cultural center Roxy . The cafe.9 venue Universal Space NoD [ROXY] is located in the very center of Prague, just a short walk from the Old Town Square, and the Namesti Republicky metro station. The address is Dlouha 33.
The way from the airport to the city:
The cheapest way from the airport to the city center is to take any bus that goes to Dejvicka metro station and take line A to Mustek and change to line B and get off at Namesti Republiky . Any metro exit that you take will throw you right in the middle of Prague.
If you want to take taxi, agree on the price before, it should not be more than 450 CZK. Most safe in Prague is to call taxi company AAA tel: (02) 33113311.
The way to cafe9 (Dlouha 33, Praha-Center):
From either of the two international train stations (Hlavni Nadrazi and Nadrazi Holesovice) take the C-line metro to the Florenc station, then transfer to the B-line, one stop to Nam. Republiky. Then walk north on Revolucni, and then left onto Dlouha. The address is Dlouha 33.
From the airport to Cafe9 take Metro A from Dejvicka to Mustek, change to line B get off at Namesti Republiky
then walk direction river on the Revolucni street along the Kotva Building and turn to the left into Dlouha.
The way to the Hotel Prokopka (Prokopova street nb.9, Praha- Ziskov):
Hotel Prokopka is in the Prague 3 Zizkov disctrict on trams number 5, 9, 26, You have to get off at Lipanska stop and look for Prokopova street nb.9.
You can catch trams:
No.9 from Vaclavske namesti {subway A,C} or Hlavni nadrazi {the Main train station / {subway C} or Narodni trida (subway B)
No. 5 at Masarykovo nadrazi {railway station], Namesti Republiky {subway B]
No 26 from Vltavska station, Strossmayerovo square, Bila Labut, Masarykovo nadrazi, Hlavni nadrazi.
From the airport to Hotel Prokopka take Metro A from Dejvicka to Hradcanska then take tram nr.5 direction center and leave at tram stop Lipanska, walk down left to Prokopovo nam. and Prokopova street (about 7 min. walk from the tram station).
